IS 101 Fall 2020

Hello everyone,

My name is Matt and this will be my first semester at CSN. So far, the Professors have been outstanding and exceeded my expectations. The amount of thought and hard work that goes into coordinating with an outside certification source is difficult. Based off my prior experience it shows me that CSN wants to prepare their students for an IT job immediately upon graduation or while attending CSN. The adaptability and patience of the Professors at CSN is well above the rest. I look forward to completing my Degree through CSN.

  1. Very glad to hear your professors at College of Southern Nevada (CSN) are outstanding and exceed your expectations :-)

The Computing & Information Technology (CIT) department does its best to prepare students for their career in IT.

Two years ago, we earned the National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense 2-Year Education (CAE-2Y) from the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

  4. I agree, the resources provided by the professors at CSN were more helpful than I thought they'd be given our current situation. Especially as a first timer myself, I felt like they helped make this online transition a lot smoother. Good luck towards your degree :)

  8. For the most part all my teachers at CSN have been exceptional! I started out at UNLV and from my experience, especially in math and other technical classes, CSN teachers are far more attentive and understanding. Plus if you take into account the cost difference, CSN really scores a 10/10.
